BCSi is currently seeking fully trained Protective Security Officers (PSO) to provide armed protective services for the federal government. These individuals must meet the general qualifications listed below and be dedicated to provide professional quality services to our customers.
General Qualifications
- Be a citizen of the United States of American or a Lawful PermanentResidents who are currently members of the U.S. armed services (Reserves or NationalGuard) or who possess an Honorable Discharge from a U.S. Military component.
- Have a Social Security Card issued and approved by the Social Security Administration.
- Be at least 21 years of age. While there is no limit as to the maximum age of SecurityOfficers, all Security Officers must be able to withstand the physical demands of the joband must be capable of responding to emergencies.

Armed Security Officer – Durham, NC

Security Officers - Artesia / Lovington, NM
BCSi is seeking full and part-time Unarmed Security Officers to work at the Navajo Refinery in Artesia and Lovington. Experience is preferred, but not required. Starting pay is $10.00 per hour, plus medical, dental and vision benefits. Protective Security Officer - Indian Island, Port Hadlock WA
General Information
- Part-Time, working 17 to 34 hours per week providing 24/7 armed security on Naval Magazine Indian Island, Port Hadlock Washington.
Pay and Allowances
- All required uniform items provided and replaced as necessary with the exception of a black t-shirt and knit hat.
- Hourly rate: $23.27 direct deposit + $3.50 tax exempt in a 401K.
- 104 hours paid vacation per year.
- Holiday pay
- Medical / Dental coverage not provided.
Job Requirements
- Possess High School Diploma or GED
- No criminal convictions including set aside, deferred, community service, and acts as a juvenile. These items are not “off your record.”
- No convictions or treatment for drugs or alcohol.
- Cannot be diagnosed with a psychosis (Bipolar, Schizophrenia etc.) and has not been committed to a mental institution.
- Service in the United States Military must be “Honorable” proven by DD214. No other circumstance is acceptable.
- Successfully completed a physical fitness test (PFT) prior to hire and every six months to stay employed; 1.5 mile run, push-ups, sit-ups, and flexibility tests.
- Pass psychological testing.
- Maximum of one moving violation on a Washington State driver’s license history report.
- Must be seaworthy.
- Must pass the firearms range.
- Pass all training requirements.
- Must have good work history and references.

BCSi is seeking a Government Proposal Writer to join our team. The qualified applicant will have knowledge of writing and editing documentation. The Proposal Writer supports business development activities in several capacities, including writing and coordination for proposal efforts, monitoring potential business development (RFP) opportunities, maintaining business development materials, developing and editing standard operating procedures and post orders, and maintaining business development files. Responsibilities: •Coordinate proposal activity and proposal task sequencing with consulting and contracts staff. •Coordinate proposal content acquisition from internal resources. •Develop effective methods for presenting and organizing information within proposals, such as the use of tables and graphics. •Edit proposal materials to eliminate inconsistencies in format or voice, typos, and grammatical and spelling mistakes. •Adapt existing resumes and other qualification materials to respond to individual proposal needs. •Research, write, and update information in the business development repository, including project descriptions, resumes, and other qualification materials. •Monitor websites for RFP opportunities of potential interest to BCSi, and distribute opportunities to appropriate staff. •Assist with other corporate writing and communications as needed. |
